Designed footwear solutions for Women's Double Dutch in a two-week Under Armour sponsored project through the FAAS Studio and PENSOLE Design Academy. Worked closely with apparel designer to create a cohesive set of products for Double Dutch athletes.

UA Jump In | Double Dutch

UA wants to create women offerings, and what better way to do that than through truly empowering women as athletes through double dutch, and especially empowering young girls in the inner city through a sport that literally only requires a jump rope.

Colorways for Double Dutch Uniform

These are the final footwear colorways I designed in conjunction with apparel designer Stephen Park, my partner in this project.

Sneaker Design

This shoe is designed specifically for the needs of double dutch athletes. We talked to the president of black girls jump and she said they needed a shoe yesterday.

Sneaker Orthographic

The shoe was designed to provide the most cushioning under the metatarsal heads due to constant impact on the forefoot area when jumping rapidly. The flex grooves provide the flexion and grip needed to have faster performance.
